Biography
I trained through the University of Otago Medical School. I have spent two years running my own general practice prior to completing my surgical training. My Post Graduate Surgical training was as Surgical Fellow at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital (UK) as well as the Wakefield Surgical Clinic, Wellington. I have an MBA through Victoria University. I am an affiliated provider for Southern Cross. I have a major interest in the treatment and long term management of morbid obesity. This can only be achieved via a multidisciplinary approach, which is what we offer. Careful preoperative preparation, surgery tailored to the patient’s needs and long term follow-up will enable most motivated patients to achieve their goals.
