Biography
Following my orthopaedic specialist training in New Zealand, I undertook further clinical fellowships in Australia, UK and Canada. Shoulder and Elbow fellowships were undertaken in Sydney and in Oxford. A Shoulder and Knee Arthroscopy and Sports fellowship was undertaken at the University of Calgary Sports Medical Centre. Hip and Knee fellowships were undertaken in Oxford and in Toronto. I enjoy working in my public practice, helping to establish the new orthopaedic department at North Shore Hospital, and teaching registrars, house surgeons, nurses and physiotherapists. My private practice is in the Waitemata area, which allows me to work closely with local GPs and other health professionals in both my private and public practice.
