Biography

Widely experienced in general Gynaecology and working in full time private practice, covering the whole of the greater Wellington area. Consulting in Wellington, Kapiti and Masterton and operating at Southern Cross Hospital (Wellington) and other private hospitals including Selina Sutherland Hospital (Masterton). Sub-specialty interests include Advanced Laparoscopic / Hysteroscopic surgery (including Microwave Ablation), the surgical treatment of Endometriosis, Pelvic floor repair surgery, Urogynaecology , Reproductive Endocrinology (Infertility, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, Menopause etc), and Colposcopy. I have a special interest in the treatment of endometriosis and work with a multi-disciplinary approach, in close association with Urologists, Urogynaecologists and Colorectal and General Surgeons. Founder of The Endometriosis Centre. Research Interest

Advanced Laparoscopic and Hysteroscopic Surgery including: - Laparoscopic Hysterectomy - Laparoscopic excision of all stages of Endometriosis - Laparoscopic Myomectomy / Cystectomy - Endometrial Resection / Ablation - Resection of Submucosal Fibroids Also, Urodynamics in combination with Professor Don Wilson (Otago) and all urinary incontinence and pelvic floor surgery.
