Gary Mersham

Biography

I have a Doctorate, Masters and Honours in Communication Science, am an accredited Myers Briggs psychological profiling administrator and hold a Certificate in Assessment of Learning in Higher Education (Level 7). I have taught at universities in South Africa, Australia and the USA. My experience includes working as a journalist in print and radio and as a television producer. I have also been a Principal in a communications and public relations consultancy which provided counselling and strategic research to a portfolio of international corporate clients and I am a former partner in two information technology services and training companies.

Research Interest

I have authored nine books, numerous articles in scientific and popular journals, and produced web pages, broadcast television and radio inserts and corporate videos. My current research interests are in flexible and distance learning, E-Learning, social media, and public relations and communication management in New Zealand.
