Biography
I am a Senior Lecturer in Psychology and teach General & Applied Psychology, Human Development and Behaviour Modification. My role includes membership on several research-focused groups and I am the mental health representative on the Equal Employment Opportunities Committee. I am also an Adjunct Research Associate at Victoria University of Wellington.
Research Interest
My research interests are self-control (examining individual and environmental factors that relate to impulsive decision making), gambling (determining how environmental factors can change gambling behaviour), consumer behaviour (considering how your spending habits are influenced by your environment), and adult education and learning support (investigating ways to use the internet to develop student communities and increase student success).
