Biography

I have a Masters and PhD in behavioural pharmacology and behaviour analysis, including a Bachelor of Science and Honours degree majoring in Psychology from Victoria University of Wellington.

Research Interest

My research interests are centred on examining the processes that lead to the development of addictions as well as the environmental stimuli and mechanisms related to the perseveration of addictive behaviours. Of particular interest is using mathematical models to quantify the addictiveness of drugs of abuse and examining structural characteristics of slot machines that can lead to gambling addiction.
