Biography
Jon holds a Bachelor of Engineering, Chemical and a Bachelor of Science, Mathematics from the University of Sydney. After University, Jon joined Mobil Oil as a Process Engineer at its Adelaide refinery and spent seventeen years with Mobil in a wide range of management roles in Australia, the USA and Asia. Jon's last role with Mobil was as Chief Executive Officer of Indo Mobil, New Delhi, India. In 2000 Jon joined Santos, Australia's second largest oil and gas company and as Executive Vice President Operations was responsible for its onshore Australian assets. Jon was the Santos business leader responsible for the development and execution of Santos' coal seam gas strategy which, through an acquisition and appraisal programme, enabled Santos to develop the industry leading Gladstone LNG project. Jon joined The Todd Corporation in January 2011 as Group CEO. Jon holds dual New Zealand and Australian citizenship and is married with four children. His interests include family activities, motorcycle touring, travel and the arts.
