Dr Mark Loh

Biography

Mark graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2016. Born in a Malaysian town renowned for its satay skewers, his family moved to Auckland when he was 10 years of age. Mark’s interest in the dental profession began all the way back in primary school, where he would accompany his older siblings to their dental appointments. After receiving orthodontic treatment himself from the age of 9, he decided that dentistry was what he wanted to pursue from that early age. “I believed that I was more able to empathise with patients, having gone through a lot of the treatments myself.” As an easy-going yet diligent individual, Mark strives to do all his work with excellence and integrity, and with the patient’s best interest in mind. Aside from dentistry, Mark is a passionate badminton fan and player, having played the sport competitively for almost ten years now. He also enjoys an occasional game of table tennis and soccer.
