Biography
Dr. Brian Hyland is currently working as a Professor, Head of Department of Physiology, Associate Dean (Medical Admissions) in the Department of Physiology, University of Otago School of Biomedical Sciences , New Zealand. His research interests includes Neuroscience, neurophysiology, neurological disorders. He is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. Dr. Brian Hyland is the member of many international affiliations. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities. He has authored of many research articles/books related to Neuroscience, neurophysiology, neurological disorders.
Research Interest
Current research focuses on: Neurophysiology of midbrain dopamine systems and pathways which modulate dopamine neuron activity Effects of abnormal dopamine activity such as occurs in Parkinson's disease on activity in the motor control pathways
