Biography
Dr. Harold Bernhardt is a Research Fellow in Department of Anatomy, Department of Biochemistry at University of Otago School of Biomedical Sciences, New Zealand. His Qualification includes: PhD. Dr. Harold Bernhardt’s research focuses on the origin and early evolution of life, specifically in relation to the RNA world hypothesis, which proposes that RNA once played the dominant role in biological catalysis and replication. He has recently been awarded a Marsden Fast Start to study the possible prebiotic chemical evolution of RNA by spontaneous or non-enzymatic reactions. He is the author of several articles published in many reputed journals.
