Biography
Dr. Ivan Sammut is currently working as a Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, University of Otago School of Biomedical Sciences , New Zealand. His research interests includes Pharmacological Targets in Cardiovascular and Renal Disease. He is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. Dr. Ivan Sammut is the member of many international affiliations. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities. He has authored of many research articles/books related to Pharmacological Targets in Cardiovascular and Renal Disease.

Interests: cardiomyopathies, ischaemic heart disease, heart failure, ischaemic neurodegeneration, mitochondrial dysfunction and heme oxygenase Main areas of Research: Cardiac and Renal failure following MI.
