Biography
Dr. Mohammed Rizwan is currently working as a Research Fellow in the Department of Anatomy, Department of Physiology, University of Otago School of Biomedical Sciences , New Zealand. His research interests includes Neuroendocrine regulation of body weight and glucose homeostasis. He is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. Dr. Mohammed Rizwan is the member of many international affiliations. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities. He has authored of many research articles/books related to Neuroendocrine regulation of body weight and glucose homeostasis.
Research Interest
Working with Dr Alex Tups and Professor Dave Grattan's research groups. Research interest includes investigating mechanisms that causes leptin resistance, which is a hallmark of obesity, in response to high fat diet. And to understand the specific neuronal pathways involved in regulating bodyweight and glucose homeostasis.
