Biography
Dr. Pat Cragg is currently working as a Associate Professor in the Department of Physiology, University of Otago School of Biomedical Sciences , New Zealand. Her research interests includes Cardiorespiratory physiology. She is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. Dr. Pat Cragg is the member of many international affiliations. She has successfully completed her Administrative responsibilities. She has authored of many research articles/books related to Cardiorespiratory physiology.
Research Interest
Myocardial infarction: effect on sympathetic nerve activity and peripheral chemoreceptor activity. Pulmonary endothelial dysfunction during pulmonary hypertension in obesity. Control of breathing: function of chemoreceptors and lung receptors. Cardiorespiratory and renal responses to high altitude. Surfactant deficiency in the newborn: replacement strategies, lung mechanics & cardiorespiratory function.
