Biography
Dr Hammad Siddiqi joined Otago University in September 2017. His research and teaching interests are in Financial Innovation, Option Pricing, Asset Pricing, Corporate Finance, Behavioural Finance, Experimental Economics, and Game Theory. Prior to joining academia, he has worked for various international banks. He has published widely in leading field journals. His research has been featured in some MBA level textbooks as well professional magazines. He has a keen interest in communicating research findings to general audience and frequently writes op-ed pieces. He has won several external research grants and has consulting experience with DFID, Mercy Corps, and World Bank among others. He has been a recipient of outstanding instructor and exceptional performance awards.
