Biography
Hee Ji Lee is the Research Fellow in Department of Oral Rehabilitation at University of Otago, New Zealand. Her PhD studies in the School of Pharmacy at the University of Otago focused on modifying the indigenous gut microflora using probiotic treatment. This was done in an attempt to improve the gut microflora-mediated metabolism of orally-ingested drugs, thereby enhancing their efficacy and reducing side effects.
