Biography
Dr Jing (Annie) Zhang teaches and researches in the area of innovation and entrepreneurship. Her current research focuses on innovation capabilities andcompetitive advantage, innovation ambidexterity, innovation strategies, innovation networking, financing decisions in innovation, strategic entrepreneurship and knowledge management. She is also interested in developing mathematical and statistical models to understand innovation. Prior to joining University of Otago, Dr Zhang has worked in Hong Kong Shue Yan University, City University of Hong Kong and the National Research Centre for Science and Technology for Development (NRCSTD), the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, as Assistant Professor, Research Associate and Research Fellow, respectively. She received her PhD in strategic management (emphasis in technological innovation management) from the University of Wollongong. She also holds a BSc and MSc degree in Mathematics
