John Aarts

Biography

  Mr John  is the Senior Lecturer in the Department of Oral Rehabilitation at University of Otago, New Zealand. The skills and knowledge he has in this area includes stress analysis using both physical and finite elemental analysis methods. He also has an interest in qualitative research that looks at clinical issues and the dental technology profession. This area of research stems from his degree in education where he developed skills in applied qualitative research.

Research Interest

  Mr John Aarts main research thread is related to dental implants and associated removable dentures.  His research interests also extend into dental materials and particularly those to do with removable appliances.
