Biography
Liam studies sociology at the Univeristy of Otago and is currently undertaking his Honours year. He has carried out research projects for English Language Partners (Dunedin), examining migrant and refugee communities’ sense of belonging, and for the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, helping to create a Local Settlement Network map and analysing gaps of local services for migrants and refugees.
Research Interest
Liam is interested in mixed-method and sociological method research designs. He has a developing expertise in sociological mapping, an emerging method that enables identification of service networks and gaps.
