Alisa Watson

Biography

 Alisa joined Willis Street Physiotherapy in February 2014 to provide rest home physiotherapy services in Upper Hutt. Prior to this Alisa has spent the past 15 years in Health of the Elderly, providing neurological orthopaedic and respiratory physiotherapy in rest home and community settings. She has also provided occupational health physiotherapy to a large multinational manufacturing company. This has involved in-house: injury prevention programmes musculo skeletal rehabilitation stay at work rehabilitation return to work programmes workstation evaluation. In addition to this she has experience in acute respiratory, ICU/Burns and orthopaedic physiotherapy at Hutt Hospital. Alisa has also had experience in adult education including tutoring Anatomy and Physiology at the Central Institute of Technology, antenatal classes for Parents' Centre and numerous in-house training sessions. The above physiotherapy roles have blended with raising four children into wonderful adults and the current wonder that is being a grandparent to three year old twins.
