Biography
After graduating from Otago Polytechnic Fran ran her own physiotherapy practice for many years in Auckland while completing post graduate courses in acupuncture and musculo-skeletal physiotherapy. In 2004 Fran moved to Wellington to be close to family and since then has worked in sports and orthopaedic physiotherapy practices in the Wellington CBD. Fran is interested in all musculo-skeletal conditions and sports injuries, and particularly enjoys working with musicians and artists, being a keen musician herself. When appropriate, Fran finds acupuncture a very useful adjunct to her treatments providing clients are receptive to this. Recently Fran studied Canine Physiotherapy in Colorado, and is now a certified Canine Physiotherapist, using these skills on a voluntary basis at the SPCA. Fran is Bradcliff certified and delivers the Breathing Programme.
