Elizabeth Sclama

Biography

Elizabeth Sclama is the Instructor of Study Skills at American University of Nigeria. Prior to joining AUN, Elizabeth was the Director of Special Education at Success Preparatory Academy, a K-8 charter school in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA, She has experience as a special education teacher and middle school reading, writing, and math instructor. Elizabeth received a Dual B.S in Elementary and Special Education from Boston University, Boston, Massachusetts, USA and her M.A. in Special Education from Assumption College, Worcester, Massachusetts, USA. Professional interests and expertise include Universal Design for Learning (UDL), Foundational Reading and Writing Instruction, Specially designed instruction, and behavioral intervention.
