Biography
BTech., FUT Yola; MPhil., University of Cambridge; Ph.D, University of Newcastle upon Tyne. Dr. Friday Ogwu holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Justice and Oil and Gas Infrastructure Planning from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne (UK). He is currently a faculty member in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, MAUTECH Yola. Dr Ogwu got his Masters Degree in Land Economy from the University of Cambridge in 2003. He has been a lecturer at MAUTECH Yola since November 2000 and he presently coordinates the undergraduate projects in his department at MAUTECH Yola.. He has conducted several researches and consultative services for PTDF, Shell, DFID, Environmental NGOs and some other private organizations.

Environmental Risk Assessment, Petroleum Infrastructure Planning, Industry and pollution, Stakeholders' Participation, waste Management, etc
