Biography
Mr. Ahmed Aliyu, Esq., has served as Asst. Director, Company Secretary/Legal Advisor of Cement Company of Northern Nigeria Plc. since September 10, 2013. He graduated with LLB Civil Law (2nd Class Lower) in 2001 from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He started his working career at Messrs Opawale Japheth & Co. (Legal Practitioners) as a Youth Corps member from September 2003 to August 2004. He continued with the law firm from 2004 to 2006 as Associate Counsel. He joined the Corporate Affairs Commission in 2007 as Assistant Manager, Kaduna Zonal Office. From 2007 – 2008 he was Assistant Manager, Katsina State Office; 2008 – 2010 he was Head Jigawa State Office and from June 2010 to August 2012 he was the Head of Katsina State Office of the Commission. Mr. Aliyu joined Cement Company of Northern Nigeria Plc, Sokoto as Manager Legal, a position he held until his current appointment.
