Biography
Hajia Aishatu Umaru Gwandu, mni, has served as Non-Executive Director of Cement Company of Northern Nigeria Plc. since November 20, 2008. She holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration (1984) and a Masters in Business Administration (1987) from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. She is also a member of the National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies and the Nigerian Institute of Public and Corporate Administrators. She started her working career in Sokoto Investment Company Limited as an Investment Executive in 1985 and became the Acting Administrative Officer in 1986. She rose through the ranks and has over 26 years work experience at the former Sokoto State Civil Service. She is now the Managing Director/CEO of Kebbi Investments and Property Company Limited. She represents Kebbi Investment and Property Company Limited on the Board of CCNN Plc, and sits on the board of several other companies. She is Member of the Governance, Establishment and Remuneration Committee, Member of the Risk Management Committee, and Member of the Audit Committee of the Company.
