Kayode Garrick

Biography

Amb. Kayode Garrick has served as Independent Non-Executive Director of Chemical and Allied Products Plc since March 21, 2013. He received Bachelor of Art (BA) in languages from University of Ife in 1975. He started his working career as a Third Secretary, Embassy of Nigeria, Paris, France (1976 - 1978). Between 1978 - 1979, he became the Personal Assistant to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nigeria. He worked as Counselor for Political and Economic Affairs, Embassy of Nigeria, Berne, Switzerland (1982 - 1986). From 1992 - 1995, he became Head of Southern African Division, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nigeria. Between 1995 - 1996, he became a Director at the office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nigeria. Minister for Economic and Commercial Affairs, Embassy of Nigeria, Washington DC (1998 - 2003). From 2005 - 2010 he became an Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to Brazil, Paraguay and Bolivia. He is the founder and Director, South Strategy Consulting. He is Member of the Governance Committee, and Member of the Statutory Audit Committee of the Company.
