Samaila Kewa

Biography

Dr. Samaila Musa Kewa has served as Non-Executive Director of the Company since March 7, 2007. He holds a Doctorate Degree in Economics from Binghamton University and has worked in various organizations prior to his appointment on the Board of the Company. He was a member of the Plateau State Executive Council and Commissioner for Finance and Commissioner for Education from 1986 – 1988. He was seconded from Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation in 2003 to Nigerian LNG Limited as the Deputy Managing Director/ CEO and to National Oil and Chemicals Marketing Plc in 1990 as the Executive Director, Chemical Marketing. He was appointed on the board of Chevron Oil Nigeria Plc, now M R S Oil Nigeria Plc on March 7, 2007. He is Member of the Audit Committee, Member of the Board Nominations and Corporate Governance Committee, Member of the Risk, Strategic and Finance Planning Committee, and Chairman of the Human Resources Committee of the Company.
