Biography

John J. Agah holds a Ph.D and M.Ed in Educational measurement and Evaluation from University of Nigeria, Nsukka and B.Sc Ed (Mathematics/Education) from University of Calabar. Areas of interest includes: application of Item Response Theory (IRT) in Testing, Test scores Equating using Classical Test Theory (CTT) and Item Response Theory (IRT) to mention but a few. He is highly proficient in the use of SPSS for data analysis as well as designing of all kinds of instructional materials for teaching Mathematics. He teaches research methods, educational statistics and computer usage, measurement and evaluation, Science and society, and mathematics methods at undergraduate level. He also teaches Advanced measurement and evaluation, Non-parametric Statistics and Experimental Design in education at postgraduate level. He is Science Education Departmental Time-Table coordinator as well as Science Education Department Sandwich coordinator. He is a member of Nigerian Association of educational Researchers and Evaluators (NAERE) and Mathematical Association of Nigeria (MAN)
