Biography
Prof Emma Agomuo was born into a Christian family of seven children, five females and two males, to Mr. & Mrs. Nathaniel Kanu Agomuo, in Obegu Autonomous Community in Ugwunagbo Local Government of Abia State. He is the third child of the family and the first male. Prof. Emma Agomuo obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Education in June, 1984 and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from University of Jos in 1985. He came back to University of Nigeria, Nsukka and was admitted into the Department of Vocational Teacher Education as one of the five pioneer Masters Degree students and graduated in October, 1987. He obtained Ph.D in Business Education 1996.Prof. Emma Agomuo was employed as a Lecturer II in the Department of Secretarial Studies, Benue State Polytechnic in May, 1988 after his Masters and was promoted to the rank of Lecturer 1 in 1990. In March, 1992 he transferred to the Department of Vocational Teacher Education, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, on a temporary appointment as a Lecturer II and regularized Lecturer 1 in 1993. He was promoted Senior Lecturer in 1998 and a Professor of Business Education in 2008.
Research Interest
His specialization skills cover the three major components of Business Education, namely: Office Education, Marketing Education and Accounting Education.
