Biography
Born on March 1, 1953 in Nri, Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State, I attended primary school at St Mary’s Catholic School, Nri and St John’s Secondary School, Alor. I enrolled at the University of Nigeria in 1973 where I graduated in June 1977 with Second Class Honours (Upper Division) in Accountancy. I had my professional training with the firm of Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) qualifying in 1981 as Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ACA) and becoming a Fellow of the Institute (FCA) in 1996. I enrolled at the University of Nigeria where I obtained the Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accountancy in 2000.
