Biography

My name is INNOCENT CHINWENDU AGWARA and was born on 14th July 1952 at Umuire, Umuahia. I am married with three children.I had my First School Leaving Certificate at Orieamaenyi Central School in Ohuhu Umuahia in 1963; West African School Certificate at Williams Memorial Grammar School Afugiri, Umuahia in 1871; National Diploma in Marketing at Federal Polytechnic, Idah in 1984. I also had my B.Ed (Adult Education) in 1966; Post Graduate Diploma in PALG 1998 Masters in Education (Educational Planning and Administration) in 2004, all at University of Nigeria.I started work here in the University as clerk grade II in 1974 and reached the rank/position of Chief Executive Officer in 2007 at Institute of Education, on salary HATISS 13. I was converted to Academic Staff as Assistant Lecturer in 2009 in the Department of Educational Foundations with my salary as Chief Executive Officer being personal to me.I was promoted last to the rank of Lecturer I in 2013.
