Akaneme Florence Ifeoma

Biography

I obtained my first degree certificate in Education/Biology from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in 1988. After the mandatory National Youth Service programme which I completed in 1989, I registered for the Masters Degree programme in the Department of Botany (now Plant Science & Biotechnology) of the same university. I obtained the Masters Degree certificate in Genetics/Plant Breeding 1992 while my PhD certificate was obtained in the same field in 1999. I was employed as a Lecturer 11 by the university in May 1994 and rose to the rank of Senior Lecturer in the year 2000.
