Biography

Mr.Chukwumezie T.M.E is currentlyLecturer II in the Department of English and Literary Studies, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He holds a BA (Hons) degree, 2nd Class Upper Division in English from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria in 2006 and a Master of Arts degree in English (Literature) from the same University in 2008. His research interests include: The Black Diaspora Literature, African Culture and Cultural Syncretism, Post-colonial Discourse, and African Poetry, African Drama, Latin American and Caribbean literature. He teaches on the BA and PGD English and Literary Studies programmes in the Department of English and Literary Studies, UNN. He also supervises BA students’ project. He has published some of his research findings in reputable international and local journals.

Research Interest

Main areas of specialization include: The Caribbean Literature, Latin American Literature, Literature of the Black Diaspora, African and European Continental literature, among others.
