Ebirim Ugomma Nkeonye

Biography

Ugomma was born in the mid-sixties from the noble family of late Nze Jeremaiah Orjiako Dibia and Nneoma Marcellina Chikwere Orjiako in Ehime-Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State. She is the fifth child from a family of seven and the last girl child of the family. She is married to Sir Kenneth Ikedichi Ebirim and their marriage is blessed with three children. Mma, as popularly known and addressed by the family and friends is currently a senior Lecturer in the Department of Adult Education & Extra-Mural Studies University of Nigeria Nsukka where she obtained all her degrees. Her educational carrier stated at St. Michael’s Primary School Umuezeala Ogwara Ehime to Girls High School Ehime and ended in the University of Nigeria, Nsukka where she obtained a Ph.D in Extension and Distance Education in 2006. Mma has attended, authored and co-authored over thirty-four journal articles published within and outside the country. Mma is easy going, friendly and hospitable. She is a great lover of justice and peace. Mma’s hobbies include reading, singing, travelling, helping the less privileged, widows and orphans.
