Biography

Dr.Toochukwu Eleazar Ejiofor is a lecturer in Agricultural Education Unit of the Department of Vocational Teacher Education, University of Nigeria Nsukka. He possesses the following qualifications: Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) (Agricultural Education) (Distinction and College Overall Best Graduating Student, Federal College of Education (Technical) Umunze, 1998). B.Sc (Agricultural Education) 2002 (with 1st class Honours and the best graduating student Department of Vocational Teacher Education University of Nigeria); M.Ed (Agricultural Education) 2007. Ph.D (Agricultural Education) 2013. He was appointed graduate assistant in the Department of Vocational Teacher Education in 2006 and has rose to the position of lecturer 1 in the same Department.Tochukwu is a member of Nigerian Vocational Association (NVA), Nigerian Educational Research Association (NERA), World Council for Curriculum and Instruction (WCCI), African Technology Policy Studies Network (ATPS) and Associate member African institute for Applied Economics (AIAE). He is also a certified Teacher of Teachers Registration council of Nigeria .He has attended various conferences and capacity building workshops and has publications to his credit. He has served in various University committees and participated in organizing local and international conferences and workshops especially the science and Technology Education Post Basic (STEP-B) World Bank assisted project. He also participated in the development of Basic and Post-Basic Education curriculum modules for pre- vocational and vocational subjects for out of school (market/mechanic village school) programme in South Eastern States of Nigeria funded by Education Trust Fund (ETF)Dr Ejiofor doubles the position of Staff adviser for Vocational Education Students Association (VESA) and Agricultural Education Students Association (AESA) from 2008 till date. He is a Christian and a Children worker.
