Born 28th Sept. 1949 in Ibadan, current Oyo State, Nigeria; educated both in Nigeria and in the UK; has lectured, researched and examined in reputable universities within and outside Nigeria, her country; has numerous publications including books, articles in reputable international and national journals and monographs; was the Director, National Institute for Nigerian Languages(NINLAN)Aba.
