Biography
Dr Omotosho Moses Melefa is currently Lecturer I in the Department of English and Literary Studies, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He holds a BA (Hons) degree, 2nd class upper division in English and Literary Studies of the University of Calabar, Nigeria in 2007 and a Master of Arts degree in English (Language) of the University of Ibadan, Nigeria in 2011. His research interests include the phonology of Nigerian English, literary pragmatics, discourse analysis, sociolinguistics, cyber pragmatics etc. He teaches on the BA English and Literary Studies programme of the department. He also supervises BA students’ projects. He has worked in some secondary schools in Nigeria, and also taught at the General Studies Unit at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He has published some of his research findings in reputable international journals.
Research Interest
Main areas of specialisation include the phonology of the Nigerian accent of English, literary pragmatics, discourse analysis, sociolinguistics, cyber pragmatics, etc.
