Njoku Zephrinus Chidubem

Biography

Njoku Z. C, a Professor of Science Education was born on 15th May, 1959 at Umuodu, Amuzi. He attended St Jude’s Primary School (now Central School), Amuzi, (1965 – 1973) and Community Secondary School, Amuzi, (1973 – 1978) all in Ahiazu-Mbaise LGA. He got his bachelor’s degree in Chemistry/Zoology from the University of Ibadan in 1982, and M.Ed and PhD, (Science Education) from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in 1990 and 1998 respectively. Njoku Z. C was a science teachers (Chemistry, Biology, Integrated Science) in secondary schools from 1983 – 1992, when he joined the Federal College of Education, Eha-Amufu as a lecturer in Chemistry. In 2000 he joined the Institute of Education, University of Nigeria, Nsukka as a senior research fellow, and in 2006 he was promoted to the rank professor of science education, Faculty of Education, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Prof. Njoku Z. C, is currently the Head, Department of Science Education, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He has over one hundred publication.
