Biography
Dr. Anthony Ukachukwu Okere, was born in August 21, 1953. His primary education was at St. Brigid’s Primary School Ogui, Enugu, between 1958 and 1965. He attended Holy Ghost College, Umuahia and obtained TC II in 1971. His Tertiary Education were at Alvan Ikoku College of Education (1972-1974) and University of Nigeria (1986-1989; 1991-1995; 1997-2002). He obtained the following qualifications NCE, 1974; BA (Ed) 1989; Ph.D, 2003. He was appointed staff of the UNN in August 14, 1998 as Counsellor to the UNN Secondary School. Appointed Lecturer in April 2004 in the Department of Educational Foundations and Senior Lecturer in Oct. 2009.
Research Interest
Covers a wide range of Educational Foundation issues especially in the area of Guidance & Counselling. These include problems of Vocational choice in Nigeria, Occupational Development and Family Stability.
