Biography
Caleb Eziuche Agaba OKEZIE hails from Ndiezike Village, Ihiala in Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State. I was born on October 06, 1952 to the family of Mr. Fredrick O. Okezie (a civil servant) and Mrs. Catherine N. Okezie (a nurse). I obtained a bachelors degree (2nd Class Upper Division) in Botany in 1976 and a Ph.D in Plant Physiology in 1981. I was employed Lecturer II (1982) in the Division of General Studies, UNN with parallel appointment in the Department of Botany. I rose to the rank of Professor in 2003 and have held several administrative positions till date.
Research Interest
Plant tissue culture and micro propagation for the multiplication of elite plant cultivars and for conservation of genetic resources.
