Biography
Chinwe C. Okpoko B.A, M.A and Ph.D (Nig),was born on 22nd October, 1973, She hails from Agulu, Anaocha LGA of Anambra state, Nigeria. She is currently a lecturer I in the Department of Mass Communication. She was appointed an Assistant Lecturer in January, 2008 and rose to the rank of Lecturer I in October 2012. Dr. Okpoko specializes in Health Communication and also has keen interest in such areas of communication as development and cultural communication. She is a member of African Council for Communication Education (ACCE), Nigeria chapter and International Association for Media and Communication Research (IAMCR). She also has a number of academic articles to her credit.
