Okpoko Patrick Uchenna

Biography

Pat Uche Okpoko is a Professor of Cultural Tourism in the Department of Archaeology and Tourism, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He specializes in cultural tourism and social impact assessment. His other research interests are corporate reputation and stakeholder relations. Pat was the best graduating student in 1983 and 1988, respectively in both his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Cultural Anthropology and Master of Arts Degree in African Studies (Anthropology) of the University of Ibadan, Ibadan. He won the Archaeology and Anthropology Departmental Prize in 1983. Pat was the first person in the department to write a master’s dissertation in cultural tourism. He has published widely in his chosen areas of academic endeavour.
