Biography
Born on 16th July, 1971, a native of Amuda Isuochi in Umunneochi Local Government Area of Abia State, Dr C.S Ubani attended St. Williams Primary School, Lafia, Nassarawa State (1978- 1984); Mada Hills Secondary School, Akwanga, Nassarawa State (1984-1990); and obtained BSc, MSc, and PhD in Biochemistry from University of Nigeria, Nsukka (1992 -2012).
Research Interest
Industrial and Environmental Biochemistry. Currently working on anaerobic digestion for biogas production using biodegradable materials. The dynamics/ chemistry of biochar in soil ecosystem. Bioaccumulation of Heavy metals in plants. And bioremediation strategies of crude oil and industrial waste effluents on soil ecosystem.
