Biography
Jerry Ugwuanyi graduated B.Sc honours (Microbiology) in 1986 & M.Sc (Food Microbiology) 1990 from the University of Nigeria. He took a PhD in Fermentation and Bioprocess Technology from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK, as a British Commonwealth Scholar in 1999. He joined the services of the university as Assistant Lecturer in 1991 and rose to the ranks of Professor in 2006.
