Biography
Kah Yean Neo is senior director of Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies, Johnson & Johnson, where she is responsible for regional strategic marketing and is an integration leader for Vaccines Asia Pacific. Ms. Neo’s career spans the breadth of the healthcare industry. She has worked in pharmaceutical, diagnostics, and consumer healthcare. She started her career with Janssen Singapore in 1990. She left Johnson & Johnson in 1993 and spent eight years with Bayer Diagnostics, where she took up roles of increasing responsibility in Asia Pacific and the US. She spent time in commercial operations and strategic roles with territories spanning Asia-Pacific, Latin America, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East. Ms. Neo also worked for Consumer AP and Baxter before returning to Singapore to head Janssen Singapore in 2008. She moved to her current role in Vaccines in 2012. Ms. Neo is the former president of the Singapore Association of Pharmaceutical Industries and is a board member for Care Singapore, an organization focused on helping at risk children. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biochemistry and Chemistry and an MBA from the University of Hull. She is an alumnae of the leadership development programs at Smith College and the University of Notre Dame.
