Biography
Melchor Lucas is the Medical Director for Valulife Mobile X-ray and Laboratory Service and Chua Eye Center. Melchor has almost ten years of experience practicing medicine in general surgery and almost ten years of experience in Hospital Operations at the policy level with the Department of Health in the Philippines. He has performed an assessment of Department of Health Licensed Hospitals in terms of access and quality of care using annual hospital statistical reports from 2011 to 2016. Melchor has seventeen years of experience in private healthcare in operations and in the capacity of a consultant. He is currently also the Hospital Management Advisor for Quezon City General Hospital. Melchor holds a Doctor of Medicine from Southwestern University, Cebu City, Master in Health Services Administration from George Washington University, Master in Public Health from the University of the Philippines, Manila, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of San Carlos, Cebu City.
