Biography
Dr. Ashok Bhanage is a Neurosurgeon who is the Chairman of Cancer Centre and Director & Head of Neurosurgery and Radiosurgery Departments.Since qualifying as a Neurosurgeon from University of Bombay in 1984, he has performed more than 19,000 major neurosurgeries.Neuro Oncology has been his principal area of interest.
Research Interest
He was responsible for setting up the Cancer Center and the Radiosurgery Unit for treatment of Brain Tumors with X-knife and has gained considerable reputation for excellent results.
