Biography
Luis Araujo was named CEO in July 2014 after joining Aker Solutions in 2011 as president for the company’s Brazilian operations. The Brazilian has more than 30 years of oil and gas industry experience, including senior posts in GE, Wellstream, ABB and FMC Technologies. He has a BEng in mechanical engineering from Gama Filho University in Brazil and an MBA from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. Araujo owned 76,898 company shares and held no stock options as of December 31, 2016.
