Biography
Dr. Øyvind Sverre Bruland, M.D., Ph.D. Co-founded Algeta ASA in 1997 and served as a Member Of Scientific Advisory Board. Dr. Bruland is a Professor of Oncology, The Norwegian Radium Hospital, Oslo. Dr. Bruland serves as the Head of Clinical Research, Center for Research & Training at the Norwegian Radium Hospital. He is the Co-founder and Director of Anticancer Therapeutic Inventions AS. He served as a Member of Scientific Advisory Board of Nordic Nanovector AS. He has authored and co-authored more than 150 scientific publications. Dr. Bruland has been the head of several international conferences, last as Scientific Chairman from 2000 to 2002, 18th UICC World Cancer Congress. He is the recipient of several awards, including the "Kreyberg-Award" in Experimental Pathology, University of Oslo 1992. He holds a MD (1979) and a PhD (1989) from the University of Oslo.
