Biography
Dr. Myrset is a biochemist by training gaining her doctorate from University of Oslo. She joined AlgiPharma in 2012 and is running the Cystic Fibrosis clinical development program. From 2008 – 2012 Astrid was the CEO of Omegatri AS, a start-up company within the health care segment. From 1994 to 2008 Dr. Myrset held various positions in R&D in the pharmaceutical industry (Nycomed – Amersham – GE Healthcare), most recently global positions where she worked on strategy, innovation and knowledge management. Prior to this she worked as a project leader and senior scientist within biochemistry and molecular biology. Dr. Myrset is a citizen of Norway.
