Biography
Krzysztof Kurek graduated from Medical Academy of Warsaw. He also completed the "Management and economy of medical technologies" faculty at Leon Koźmiński Academy of Entrepreneurship and Management (now Koźmiński University) with the MBA title.He began his professional career in 1996. The same year, he joined the Department of Gastroenterology at the Oncology Centre in Warsaw where he was employed until 2006.
Research Interest
Krzysztof Kurek has been associated with LUX MED Group since 2000, initially as a doctor at LIM Medical Centre, then since 2006 as a Medical Technologies Development Director. He was responsible for standardisation and procedures in the medical area, education of the medical personnel and medical costs optimisation. Since 2012 he has also been a Board Member of Endoterapia, a company belonging to the LUX MED Group. In April 2013 he has been appointed as a Member of the Management Board of LUX MED Sp. z
